ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES : DESIGN REVIEW
Do you have a napkin sketch, a stock plan, or are you working with a builder and you would like to get a professional second opinion on your design? A Design Review is a simple and straightforward architectural review of your project. It can be for a homeowner who has a stock plan design and layout they’re happy with, but just feel like it could use a few tweaks to make it perfect. It can be for a builder who would simply like a second opinion on a design they came up with for a new client. Or it can even be for that Real Estate Agent looking to ‘wow’ their client on the refinements one could easily make to turn a prospective home from a good fit to the perfect fit. Over the course of just 1-2 weeks, we will complete the following:
WHAT IS A DESIGN REVIEW AND WHO IS THIS FOR?
DISCOVER
Objective: To meet you! Discuss what your ultimate project goals are. Review your current design and layout; what you like about it, what you don’t.
SYNTHESIZE
Objective: For us to synthesize ways for you to optimize your current design in a way that is reflective of your project goals as determined during our initial meeting.
PRESENT
Objective: To present our hand sketches, observations, and ideas such that you can apply those you like, or those you don’t, into your design.
STANDARD DESIGN REVIEW : $750
Optional Additional Services:
–Hardline plans or elevations of design ideas (CAD) : +$500
–3D model of design ideas (SketchUp) : +$1000
–Additional design review/consultation following completion of Design Review : +$130/hr
Note: Design Reviews involving more design guidance, assistance, or drawing time, based off of either the scope of design review requested or the size of the project may necessitate an additional fee which will be provided to the Client prior to commencement of the Design Review.
