Needing to create more space for their growing family in their existing home, R. Edwards & Company decided to take advantage of what was simply an inaccessible trussed attic and expand it to provide two new bedrooms for the Client’s young children, while also taking the opportunity to grow the 2nd floor home office space in the process. Taking cues from the rest of the home, care was taken in providing calm light-filled spaces, simple yet deliberate woodworking details; all within a pair of dormers on the front and back of the house which were designed to seem like they’d always been there.
